Distinguished by a diverse spectrum of educators from various disciplines, the Midrasha staff is composed of individuals holding advanced degrees from premier Yeshiva and academic institutions. At the helm of our educational journey are esteemed lecturers and instructors, whose expertise and passion enrich the learning experience.

Among them are:

אסתר פישר

R’ Esther is a proud alumna of the inaugural Midrasha class in 1986. With a master’s degree in Talmud from the Hebrew University and a Ph.D. from Bar-Ilan University’s Gender Studies Program, she teaches Talmud, rabbinical literature, and gender studies. Esther co-founded the Nigun Nashim Beit Midrash at Oranim, is a graduate of the Israeli Rabbinical Beit Midrash of the Hartman Institute and currently is one of the heads of this project. She is also actively involved in additional Rabbinical Organizations: Beit Hillel and Torat Chaim. Residing in Kibbutz Merav, Esther is married to Benny, a mother of five, and a grandmother.

Rafael is a graduate of Israel Studies and a tour guide. Rafael has guided generations of travellers throughout our beautiful land. The owner of an educational guidance company, “Bishvil ha-Aretz,” Rafael was born and raised in Jerusalem. He currently resides in Hoshaya, is married to Dena, a father to Aviya and Noam, and a grandfather to Talya Zohara.

Atira is married to Shilo and a mother of five.
Atira loves to learn and teach a variety of Torah subjects – Bible, Midrash, Jewish Thought, Halakha and more. She believes in a Torah that is a Torah of life and of actions.
Atira holds an M.A. in Bible Studies, is a group facilitator, a consultant on niddah matters, a kallah teacher and guides couples on marital relations.
She is currently studying in the “Morot Halakha” program.

R’ Yaara teaches Talmud, rabbinical literature, and Jewish philosophy at the Midrasha. Holder of a BA in Jewish Philosophy and Jewish History from the “Ofakim” program at Tel Aviv University, R’ Yaara is currently pursuing a master’s degree and recently received Smicha from Yeshivat Maharat. Trained as a group facilitator, she brings a dynamic approach to her educational responsibilities. Yaara resides in Kibbutz Ein HaNatziv, is married to Matan, and is a mother of four.

R’ Rachel is ordained as a Morat Halakha and is the head of the Beit Midrash and the Midrasha’s Morot Halakha program.

At the Midrasha, Rachel imparts her knowledge and teaches Jewish philosophy, Bible, Halachic philosophy, and Gender Studies. With a BA and MA in Jewish Philosophy and Jewish History from Hebrew University, along with a master’s degree in Gender Studies from Bar-Ilan University, Rachel is a dedicated scholar A graduate of the Mandel School for Educational Leadership, she is a member of Rabbinical Organizations such as Beit Hillel and Torat Chaim, and is a member of Kolech, having previously chaired the organization’s executive committee. Rachel resides in Kibbutz Ein HaNatziv with her husband Gdalia, and is a mother of three and a grandmother.

Or teaches Talmud and Jewish Thought to our first-year students.
She is a graduate of Yeshivat Drisha and holds a first degree in education, rabbinic literature and general literature.
Or is a student in the “Tehilla” halakhic program, a joint program of the Midrasha and Maharat.
Or is married and a mother of three, and resides in Sde Eliyahu.

Shana Aleph Ramit

Hadas teaches rabbinical literature and Rabbi Kook’s philosophy. In addition to her instructional duties, she is responsible for accompanying the Midrasha soldiers during their service. Hadas is a graduate of Midreshet Lindenbaum, holding a BA in Jewish History and Literature from Bar-Ilan University. Her educational journey includes participation in the “Psychology in Judaism” program under the guidance of Dr. Yair Kaspi. Residing in Kibbutz Ma’ale Gilboa, Hadas is married to Hezi and is a mother of five.

Galit is married and a mother to four adorable children.
Galit resides in Maaleh Gilboa, and is a teacher of Jewish Studies, an educator and a therapist.

R’ Tania teaches and addresses diverse Jewish themes at the Midrasha. Additionally, she oversees the coordination and facilitation of recruitment and army induction processes. R’ Tania holds a BA from Bar Ilan University and an MA from the Schechter Institute. A graduate of HaMidrasha at Oranim and the Shalom Hartman Institute’s Beit Midrash for Israeli Rabbis. Residing in Kibbutz Tirat Tzvi, Tania is a mother of five children.

Shlomit is a graduate of the Stella K. Abraham Beit Midrash for Women in Migdal Oz and of Midreshet Lindenbaum, and holds a degree in social work.
Shlomit worked for several years as a social worker and a teacher in institutions for at-risk youth.
Shlomit is married and a mother to four. She lives in Mitzpe Netophah in the Galilee.
She is a graduate of the Halakha Studies Program at the Midrasha, and teaches Talmud and Halakha.
Shlomit is the CEO of the Beit Hillel Rabbinical Organization.

R’ Avital focuses on the concept of truth and the development of Halacha by Hazal. Avital is a graduate of the Halacha program at Midreshet Lindenbaum and holds ordination as a Rabbi from the Yeshivat Maharat in New York. Her educational background includes a BA in Theater and an MA in Talmud. In her capacity as a group instructor, Avital imparts her expertise in Gemara and Halacha across various educational frameworks. She resides in Kibbutz Ein HaNatziv with her family.
